3	An " Object " Prim Sensor & Ride Kind of silly and very useful. Sit on it, and touch it. It slowly rises 50m at a time to over 650m Each time it stops, it lists all prims named Object that it can find the owner of. (up to any sensor's max of 16) Also lists avatars in the neighborhood. How I used it was to find prims lost undergound and WAY in the air. Currently on my land there is no prim named Object anywhere. Which means that building is easier because there are not a bajillion prims named Object. This only applies to parent prims. Once it reaches max height, it automatically returns to ground. 7	BuildersBeacon Drop one on each corner of the property... build at height without neighbors complaining that your SkyPalace is drifting into their space. At least thats how I use it. Emits a particle stream that climbs almost 300M. Change the color of the object, shut it on and off... new color. 8	One Prim Forest Instant forest! One prim. Owner Click on/off. Script modify! Contains 4 types of flexible prim trees. You can add your own trees as long as you have rights to them. (Sorry, Linden trees don't work) Adjustable in script, the range of the forest is about 10m. Rezzes "temp on rez" trees. Automatically adjusts for ground level, so can be used on titled ground with ease! It rotates the tree randomly so your trees don't look quite so "square" and perfectly aligned. The rate of the tree rezzing can be changed in script as well. UPDATE If you are getting temp on rez warnings it is because the lindens keep fiddling. Some of them are from temp on rezzers but they also from vehicles. This latest SL update is borked. Welcome to an expanding universe :) Fixes to follow... Some of the forests can be restored by restarting them. Which on THIS version is a pain. (update coming soon) I also would like you to make a change in script and know why I want you to make it. (nother thing to add in update) Try to select the prim, if you get a tree, just hit delete... repeat.. You will eventually get the forest prim. click it to shut it off. This step optional but important. Open the script inside. Look for llSetTimerEvent(). Change the number inside the () to something higher. The higher the number the LESS OFTEN the tree will rez. 9	BuildersBecon II (Becon, Elevator more) Builders "Builders Army/Knife" REZ IT, SIT ON IT, CLICK IT, PLAY Drop one on each corner of the property... build at height with ease. Don't have a sky palace yet? Sit on it and ride it to several levels. The becon can "Rez" you a floor. (with full mods) Menu (owner only) Driven. Emits a particle stream that can climb almost 1200M. (400 above current height) Change the color of the object, shut it on and off... new color. Many other possibilities... one guy suggested that it would be a good guide to bring in aircraft. :) New Fatures in verson II... Owner only. Dialog (menu) driven interface. Started off with size that will make sure the particles carry. (most people didn't resize version 1) When you resize on the X and Y, (once you restart) the particle changes size so you can have smaller particles. It is also a ride / elevator now. Sit on it (if you wish)... click on it... the menu offers ground to top of the world in 100 m segments (ground, 200m.300m..700m.768m) rezzing floors. Upgrade coming about the end of July / beginning of August. Anyone who purchased BuildersBecon II at the current price will get the upgrade for free. This item will remain for sale at this price. The next version will cost a few hundred more. If you are a current owner of the BuildersBecon II, please IM DolphPun Somme in game with suggestions!!! 17	MP3 Jukebox Script No stream? Want to put music on your OWN land? With this script you can fake streaming with mp3s. Easy to modify, commented, full modify rights. Ok, I have tried to make this script as simple as possible. There are features I could have added, but each one makes the script harder to understand. I want it to be Scripting Newbie friendly. Some scripting experience needed, but not much. :) Some experience with web publishing assumed. :) If your filenames/urls have the space character in them, the script will have a hard time with them. (The internet uses the space character differently) This is a limitation of the internet. replace the space character with a %20 and you will be OK! 1) Go choose up to 25 mp3s out of your collection. WARNING Most mp3s in your collection are sampled to levels which will smoke most web-servers. This can cause lag on those with lower bandwidth like DSL. Best to grab your CDs and sample in low rez copies. If you don't have your CDs handy... cough cough There is a wonderful tool out there called Audacity. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ 2) Upload them to a web server somewhere. Some web servers are Case Sensitive. 3) Make a prim on your property. The script will only work on property you OWN. (Not deeded group land, etc) ((workaround for groupland below)) Drop the MP3Juke script into the thing and open it. 4) change string mainURL = "http://home.comcast.net/~dolphpun/SLmusic/"; to the web server you have your mp3s on. be sure to add the trailing slash / 5) Play your mp3s in your favorite program. You are looking for the following information... FN ... This is the part of the filename WITHOUT the .mp3 NM ... The name of the song. ART ... The name of the artist MN ... The number of minutes. SC ... The number of seconds left over after the minutes are gone. I.E. 2:31 would be SC = 31 6) Fill in the blanks in each section of code (one for each song) inside the quotes if there are quotes.. (GROUP LAND ONLY) Take a copy, then deed the object to group. Technically group land is not "owned" by anyone. Although group officers can change the media on the media tab, their objects can not. If the object has been deeded to the group, it will work, but will be very hard to modify. Ergo... the copy. ..... and so on. UPDATES ! You no longer have to worry about space characters in your mp3 names. If over land you don't have music rights to, it will tell you so. Now responds to group-click in additon to owner click.
